3 Things to Do When You Just Don't Want to Go Out in London (or Elsewhere)

After the festivities of December, January can seem a little well... drab. The weather is awful most of the time, you've spent the majority of your money on Christmas and there aren't any events being thrown locally that are exciting enough to drag you out of your home when you've only just got back in from a day at work. Don't worry, we know how it is.

Still, just because you don't want to go out doesn't mean you have to binge watch rubbish telly or sit staring at a wall. Today, we thought we'd give you some fun ideas for the next time you don't want to go out but you still want to have a good time.

1. Learn A New Skill Like Crocheting or Scrapbooking

If you want a New Years' resolution that you can keep, learning a new skill is a pretty easy one to go for. Before the internet, learning a new skill required hours of practice, classes and reading books you had to borrow from the local library or bought at a specialised store. Fortunately, we can now learn new skills in a matter of hours without ever having to leave our living rooms. By searching on sites like YouTube or Pinterest, you can learn how to do anything from crocheting to yoga, in an evening. You may not become a pro, but we reckon you can get a strong foundation in by watching just a few videos. Other options include scrapbooking, nail art, cooking, making jewellery, photography, calligraphy; the list is pretty much infinite at this point.

2. Play New Games at an Online Casino
Not only is the internet a goldmine for anyone looking to get crafty, it is also home to thousands of games from a variety of genres. One of the more popular online gaming sectors of all time is iGaming, also known as online casinos. The trickiest part of playing at an online casino will no doubt be choosing the right one as there are quite a few to choose from. Thankfully, there are sites like Casinos Killer that list the best sites, promotions and games so you can play online casinos games with ease. Alternatively, if slots and table games aren't for you, there are literally thousands of online bingo sites to choose from that are sure to keep you entertained.

3. Pamper Yourself With a Spa Night

This time of year, it can be difficult to stay on top of all the bad things work, the weather and life in general can do to our appearance. So, we recommend you take the time to pamper yourself the next time you don't feel like going out. All this requires is a quick trip to the store on your way home and you'll have yourself a relaxing spa night in the making. Start off with a soak in the bath, complete with bubbles, body scrub, a hair mask and anything else you fancy. Once you're dry it's time to cleanse, tone and moisturise - not only your face but your feet and hands too. Once you're all relaxed you'll wonder why anyone in their right minds would choose going out in the cold over staying at home.

See, why would anyone prefer going out to staying at home where it's warm? Are there any other ideas we should add to the list? Let us know in the comments below.
